Sterling Silver Queen Mary Luckenbooth Cuff Bracelet

By B.J. Erickson.  Lost wax cast.  Design top measures 36 millimeters (approx. 1.5 inches) across.  Cuff will fit average (7-8 inch bracelet) wrist. A "Luckenbooth" was a Scottish lockable stall or workshop.  These Edinburgh workshops were located on the Royal Mile near St. Giles Cathedral and housed silver and goldsmiths dating back to the 15th century.  Legend holds that the "Luckenbooth Brooch" (featuring a crown above two intertwined hearts) was given by Mary, Queen of Scots to Lord Darnley.  This Scottish symbol is still given and worn today as a token of love and protection.  Click here to learn more about B.J.
