About Earth Traditions

plain Earth Traditions headeris an event-based, retail business local to Raleigh, North Carolina, specializing in the sale of Irish, Scottish, Celtic, celestial, and mythical jewelry and gift items.  Our handmade lines of jewelry include:  Hermit Studios, Touchstone Pottery, Oberon Design, Diggins Design ceramic, and Earth Traditions…Exclusive! by the Gem Gypsy.  Symbols and themes include: claddaughs, shamrocks, harps, thistles, celtic knots, celtic crosses, suns, moons, stars, pan-celtic (pre-Christian) themes, fairies, dragons and other holistic and earth-oriented symbols such as The Tree of Life.  These symbolic talismans are the outward tokens of who we are and our celebration of life!

Gifts and jewelry are all very high quality with designs unique to each artist.  Pieces are either handmade locally, or are handmade domestically and distributed commercially.  We go to great lengths to seek out pieces and lines that are “different” as well as to keep our inventory fresh!
Being an event-based business means we do not have a storefront location, but do strive to keep ourselves in the public eye by attending Irish and Celtic Festivals, Scottish Highland Games, Renaissance Faires, New Age shows, Irish Feisianna, and Craft Fairs.  Our inventory changes with each audience, so please, visit our Events Page and come see us!
Earth Traditions has been in business since 1999 and is owned by Christi Cramer, aka: the Gem Gypsy, who is a Graduate Gemologist through The Gemological Institute of America, and has been involved full-time in the jewelry industry for over 35 years.
